Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you browse this website, prepare a project brief or contact DEVELOPMENT about software and digital services.
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to the public-facing website of DEVELOPMENT and to business enquiries about our software development and digital solutions. Our services include websites, web applications, AI integrations, workflow automation, CRM systems, dashboards, API connections and technical support. The business began operating on October 21, 2026. This policy describes the website experience and the handling of information associated with prospective and actual engagements.
When we process information on behalf of a client within a client-owned application or service, the client may determine the purposes of that processing. A separate service agreement, confidentiality arrangement or data processing agreement may apply to that work. This website policy does not replace a client’s own privacy notice, and it does not describe every third-party platform used in a particular project.
2. Information you choose to provide
You may provide your name, email address, company or project name, service interests, project requirements and the contents of correspondence. If an engagement proceeds, we may also need business contact details, invoicing information, project access instructions and records of decisions. Please provide information that is relevant to the conversation and avoid including information about another person unless you are authorized to share it.
The public enquiry form asks for a full name, email address, company or project name, selected service, project details and acknowledgement of this policy. These fields are used to prepare a brief on your device. Preparing a brief does not, by itself, give us access to the information entered. We receive the brief only if you separately share it through a communication channel such as email.
3. How the browser form works
The project form validates the required fields and creates a local reference code after successful completion. It displays a thank-you card with a reference and offers a copy function, then clears the entry fields. The form does not post the message to DEVELOPMENT, use a contact submission endpoint or send form contents through a third-party form processor. Its reference code identifies the locally prepared brief; it is not proof of receipt by the company.
The supplied form code keeps the prepared brief in the current page’s memory. It does not deliberately save the form contents to cookies, local storage or session storage. Closing or reloading the page can remove that in-page information. Your browser may independently offer autofill or retain form history according to your browser settings. Using the copy function places the brief on your device clipboard, which is controlled by your operating system and other applications.
4. Technical information and website providers
The website is intended to run on Shopify. Hosting and platform infrastructure can receive technical details such as IP address, browser information, device information, timestamps, requested resources, security events and cookie preferences. The exact platform collection depends on Shopify services, theme configuration and apps enabled by the merchant. The supplied DEVELOPMENT sections do not add advertising pixels, behavioral analytics packages or session recording tools.
Typography in these sections is requested from Google Fonts. Loading an external font can send routine connection details, including your IP address and browser request information, to the font provider. Images are intended to be uploaded to Shopify and served through its file infrastructure. If additional apps, tracking tools or embedded services are introduced, their operation must be reflected in the relevant notices and privacy settings.
5. Why information may be used
Information actually received through correspondence may be used to understand a request, assess project feasibility, prepare a proposal, arrange discussions, answer technical questions, deliver agreed services, manage changes, issue invoices, keep necessary business records and resolve concerns. We use information for the context in which it was supplied or another compatible, lawful purpose.
Where a law requires a legal basis, the relevant basis may include taking steps at your request before a contract, performing a contract, complying with legal duties, protecting legitimate business interests or relying on consent where required. We do not treat acknowledgement of this policy as blanket consent to unrelated advertising. A service enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to marketing communications.
6. Sharing and access
We may share information that has been received with providers needed for an agreed engagement, such as hosting, email, business administration, payment or project software providers. Access should be limited to what is appropriate for the task and subject to suitable arrangements. Project-specific use of an AI provider or other subprocessor should be agreed before client information is transferred to that service.
Information may also be disclosed where reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to a valid legal request, protect rights, prevent misuse or obtain professional advice. We do not sell personal information as part of the website services described here. The supplied sections do not use form information for targeted advertising or decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
7. Project information, credentials and AI tools
Do not place passwords, private API keys, payment card details, government identification documents, health information or other sensitive material into the public brief form. If access is required for work, we will discuss an appropriate method and the permissions needed. Client access should be limited to the agreed purpose and revoked or adjusted when it is no longer needed.
An AI integration is a project feature, not a reason to submit unrestricted client data to a model. The proposed use case, selected provider, permitted data, account settings and review arrangements should be addressed in the engagement. We do not promise that every third-party AI service has the same retention, training or regional processing settings.
8. Retention and security
Received information is retained for the purposes for which it is needed, including project administration, support, accounting, legal obligations and the handling of disputes. Retention depends on the type of record and applicable requirements. A request to delete information will be assessed against any continuing need to keep required or relevant records; information that no longer needs to be retained should be removed or anonymized.
We aim to use appropriate administrative and technical measures for the information and work involved. No website, email system or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. You should use suitable device security and avoid transmitting unnecessary confidential material. If you suspect information has been sent to an incorrect recipient or access has been misused, contact us with enough detail to investigate.
9. Your requests and regional rights
Depending on where you live and whether a particular law applies to the business or processing, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of information, restriction or an objection to certain uses. Some laws also provide rights concerning the sale of information, targeted advertising, certain profiling or an appeal of a decision about a request. Colorado privacy rights apply when the legal conditions for coverage are met; this policy does not assume that a newly opened business meets every statutory threshold.
Send a request to the contact address below and describe the information or activity involved. We may ask for proportionate verification and clarification. We will consider the request within the applicable legal period and explain any refusal or limitation when required. You may use an authorized agent where permitted by law. We do not intend to discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.
10. International access and children
Website providers and project tools may process information in locations outside your state or country. Where a project requires a particular processing location or transfer mechanism, raise that requirement before sharing personal information or approving the relevant provider. Any additional safeguards should be documented for the engagement rather than assumed from the website description.
Our website and business services are directed to business users and adults acting in a professional capacity. The website is not designed to collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information directly to us, contact us so we can assess the situation and take appropriate steps.
11. Changes and related information
This policy may be updated as website features, providers or business practices change. The last updated date identifies the current version of this notice. A material change that requires additional notice or consent will be handled as applicable. A new policy does not automatically authorize a use that requires separate consent under law.
The Cookie Policy explains the distinction between the supplied browser interactions and platform-level technologies. Terms and Conditions describe general service arrangements. Questions about this policy or information actually received by DEVELOPMENT can be sent using the contact details below.
